　　孔子:教人快乐的儒者
　　孔子困于陈蔡之间。天幕低垂，夕阳欲颓。孔子一行被陈蔡的劳役们围着，绝粮，“从者病，莫能兴。”而孔子却讲诵弦歌不辍。其弟子子路见此情景，略带愠色，问道:“君子亦有穷乎?”子曰:“君子固穷，小人穷斯滥矣。”
　　依儒家看来，一个人不可能无为，因为每个人都有些他应该做的事。然而他做这些事都是“无所为”，因为做这些事的价值就在于“做”的本身，而非之后的结果。
